Karen Anne... The Midnight Blogger...

Many Nights... Late at Night... usually between midnight and 2:00am... I can usually be found at my "Blogging Desk."  I have received many, many requests (one actually... LOL) for a photo of myself while creating the "missives" I send out into the blogosphere in the middle of the night.  So, in response to all of those "pleadings" (actually, it's up to two now... my cat Mollie just emailed me)... here it is !

Karen Anne at her blogging desk !

I have an artist working on creating a Fifteen Month calendar suitable for mounting in such places as offices, libraries, schools, churches, auto body shops and NTB Tire Stores.  Once completed, I will have my marketing agent, Phyllis Diller's older, more attractive sister Hazel, start shopping the publishing houses in New York City... to find a suitable vehicle for mass distribution.  Stay tuned for further information.

this photo is very cute and I get some of my best work done in the middle of the night and most my days start at 5 am or 7 am

Deja Vu?  Seems like you have posted this before!  Still funny, though!

Posted by Amanda Evans, Real Estate Broker - Fort Worth Texas (DFW Living) about 9 years ago

Amanda:  I posted something similar to this about a year ago... just weeks after joining Active Rain.  I have met so many wonderful people since then... that I thought it was worth modifying it a bit, and then sharing it with all my new Active Rain friends and associates.  Glad you enjoyed it.  Take care...

Mohamed:  Yes... for some reason my brain seems to work better later in the day.  It must take me that long to get "warmed up."  Some folks get better with age... I seemed to have gotten slower... LOL.

I still want the calendar, Karen Anne!

Cute photo-reminds me of myself.  Some of my best and quiet uninterrupted work takes place at night.  I'm glad to see I'm not alone.

Amanda:  Perhaps we could get a photo of you for the very last page.  Maybe then someone else besides Mollie T would buy it.  By the way, I tried calling you... and it went to voice mail twice.

Posted by Karen Anne Stone, Fort Worth Real Estate (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) about 9 years ago

Pat:  No... you would never be alone late at night.  I used to listen to a DJ in Cleveland late at night... who used to call his listeners the "Mushroom People."  I thought that was a cute idea.  So... you are not alone.  There is a small but consistent bunch who are here late at night.  Take care...

Karen Anne - that's a cute picture of you.  I don't see Molly under your feet or on top of the computer, though.  I am a night person also, I can be tired all day but as soon as it gets dark I wake right up. Doesn't make it easy to get up to get my girl to school on time!

Posted by Chris Fisher (Your Virtual Assistant) about 9 years ago

Well, I actually am an early morning blogger -- wake up around 3-4 am sometimes, tossing and turning.  I don't look as good as your character above. ~ Evelyn

Karen Anne,

I like it.

When I was younger, my most productive time was late at night and into the wee hours.  Now, I can't keep my eyes open!

Chris:  Well... you see my head is turned as if I am watching something.  And it is MOLLIE I am watching.  She is chasing her tail... finally caught it, and then fell over !  :):

Great photo - but where is Mollie T - I thought she was your assistant.  She should be right at your side helping out.

Evelyn:  So... some nights we might both be up at the same time... except for me it is late at night, and for you it is early in the morning... except that it might actually be the same time for both of us... LOL.

Fran:  I am glad you like it.  I wonder how she would look with your gorgeous hair color.  Your current picture does not show off your hair color like your last picture did... which was just so pretty.  Thanks for visiting.  As you know, I enjoy your blog posts, too.  You live in such a beautiful part of California.  Take care...

Janna:  Isn't it funny how stuff like that happens as we get... "older ?"  LOL  When it is early morning... that is when I have trouble keeping my eyes open.  Late at night... not a problem.  Thanks for commenting...

Ruthmarie:  As you can see from the picture, my head is turned.  I am watching Mollie T chasing her tail... which she caught... and then fell over.  But... she makes a great "guard cat."  Some things she does well... other things... not so much !  LOL

Karen Anne:  You are too funny.  I've been waiting to log in and see your thoughts on Governor Palin.  Inquiring minds are dying to know.

Posted by Chris Ann Cleland, Associate Broker, Northern VA (Long and Foster REALTORS®, Gainesville, VA) about 9 years ago

Chris Ann:  Here is my latest offering regarding the lovely and charming Ms Palin. Perhaps you missed it.  Sarah Palin and the "end times"  She is pretty scary.

Karen Anne,

You can put me on your list for buying the calendar!

Posted by Adele Irving - Easton Area Homes (Prudential Patt, White Real Estate) about 9 years ago

So I have to ask the silly question. A 15 month calendar (not 12)?

Your friend in Charlottesville!

Posted by Charles McDonald, REALTOR®, Blogger, Principal Broker®, Owner (Charlottesville Real Estate Solutions) about 9 years ago

Adele:  Oh... it's going to be so great.  But... if you are so anxious to get one... then I've got some land along the Texas Gulf Coast I want to show you... LOL.

Posted by Karen Anne Stone, Fort Worth Real Estate (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) about 9 years ago

Charles:  Obviously you have not been in the market for a calendar during the months of August or September.  Many, many publishers of calendars normally market a fifteen month calendar so they can "stretch" their months of marketing.  Not kidding here... they really do.  Take care... thanks for your not-so-silly question.

I don't like the dress you are wearing! And it look like it's time to pay your colorist a visit! ;)

Posted by Steve Shatsky about 9 years ago

Steve:  First of all... my appointment with my colorist was a week ago Tuesday... so that has been taken care of.  Now... the dress.  I like it.  I was simply trying to put forth an "executive" look... just like Ms Palin, my hero, does.  [ cough, cough ]

Posted by Karen Anne Stone, Fort Worth Real Estate (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) about 9 years ago

Well, at least you are dressed for success. I just KNOW that some of these people blog in their pajamas.

Posted by Tom Burris, Texas/Louisiana Mortgage Pro - 13 YRS Experience (NMLS# 335055) about 9 years ago

Tom:  Of course I was dressing for success.  I was trying to emulate my hero... Governor Palin.  LOL.  But... I am usually not the pajamas type.  More like long night shirts or long gowns and a robe.  I like to change things around a bit.  I hope things are well with you... :)

Hi Karen Anne, I'm not a late night blogger myself.  As hard as I try to stay awake, I just can't do it.  I just fall asleep.  I glad that you've got lots of late night company.

Posted by Sondra Meyer:, See It. Experience It. Live It. (Hayden Outdoors, LLC Colorado) about 9 years ago

Hi Karen Anne, our best efforts come at the most unusual times. It just goes to show you there is no specific time or place to be inspired. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Posted by Liz Moras, Chilliwack Realtor, Garrison Crossing,Chilliwack, Abbotsford (Harrison Hot Springs, Cultus Lake) about 9 years ago

Liz:  Yes ma'am.  I'm right here.  I just tried to find SNL... but it was over an hour ago.  Darn.  I bet Tina Fey made a great Sarah Palin.  There are many things that drive me bonkers about Ms Palin... but one thing that makes me smile... is that her voice sounds exactly like Rocky the Flying Squirrel.  I listen to her, close my eyes, and can actually see here and Bullwinkle the Moose.  He better watch out, though... or she'll skin him.

Martha:  My biggest responsibility... photo-wise... is keeping up with my image as having taught in the Cleveland Catholic Schools for nine years.  So... if you feel you need to raise your hand, and refer to me as Ms Stone... that would be very appropriate.  LOL.
