Rainy Day Two Story... 3209 Sq Ft... $228,900

What a great home to come home to on a rainy day... or on any day !  This brick and stone two-story home has four or five bedrooms, three and a half baths, formal living and dining, huge gourmet kitchen with awesome breakfast/morning room with wrap-around windows.

The work island in the kitchen is oversized, and has a hard-surface counter top.  Just the right size for an army of cooks and cook-wannabee's to work around preparing holiday meals, or Cowboy party feasts.

The master bedroom suite is down stairs, and is larger than oversized.

The master bath walk-in is incredible, and the matching vanities are fit for a king and queen.

Upstairs are three over-sized bedrooms, a game room, and a separate media room, and two full baths.  The game room has a catwalk that overlooks the family room below.  By the way... my cat, Mollie T... just loves the "catwalk."  :)

The front covered porch with its curved-brickwork and roof-line reminds many of some of the architectural designs of some of the two-story homes in the Dallas M-Streets area.  The home is priced at $228,900 and has 3209 Sq Ft.

If you are ready to go from "Just Looking" to "Let's Get Serious," call the New Home Hotline at (817) 929-3400.  Karen Anne Stone will be pleased to give you your very own personal tour of this home.  By the way... it is available in the areas of Burleson, Hulen, Keller, Midlothian and Weatherford.  Call Karen Today !

Wow houses in Texas less than $100 a square foot.  That is a good price.

Karen, where are the other pictures?
Russ, The majority of homes in Texas are well under $100 sqft.

I did not do the price per sq foot math but that is a great value!

Russ:  This is very typical of values here in Fort Worth and Dallas.  And we've got lots of room for more Michiganders.  :)  Thanks for your kind words.

Donna:  You want more pictures, huh ?  Well, ok... let me see what I can do... :)  And yes, this is very typical of many of the new homes, and existing ones, too.  Take care, Donna...

Charles:  Without a calculator this early in the morning, I am going to guess it comes out to about $72 a square foot.  Good values here, Charles... and this home really does have lots of goodies inside.  Thanks for the kind comment.  Take care...

Karen Anne, this one also looks like it also sits on a good sized lot.

Hi Karen, so does the rain come with this house?  If so, I'd like to buy it and ship it to College Station.  In all seriousness, this looks like a great house and I like your write up.

Gary:  This builder usually builds on decent size lots... and this home is on a corner lot... so it is good sized.

Sondra:  If I could ship the rain down to you, I really would.  I am a bit surprised that you didn't get at least a little rain from Hurricane Bertha.  Thanks so much for your comments about my write-up.  I think so much is missed when a Realtor tries to feature a home and just plops it into one of those "Postlet" templates... so thanks for your kind words...

Hi K.A., this is a great looking house and sounds quite wonderful.  The covered front porch roofline design definitely has an "M Streets" look to it.  I also love the stormy skies photo!

Steve:  I actually used to live in the M-Streets area... on Mercedes St.  I loved the architectural styles down there... so I usually mention it when I am reminded of it in seeing what I call the "M-Streets" look in other areas.  And yes, the stormy skies photo is just gorgeous.  I think it sets up the house even better than a bright blue sky would.  Take care... thanks for sharing...
