New Home Open House in Midlothian, Texas... Open Sunday 1:00 to 6:00pm

This truly impressive home measures 3,209 sq ft... and on the inside it looks even larger.  The first floor features an incredible formal living and dining on either side of the entry foyer, and then opens into a fabulous family room with a back "wall of windows."

The family room is two stories high, and also features a two-story stone fireplace with raised stone hearth and wood mantle.

The family room is also open from the catwalk on the second floor above... which connects the two bedrooms and full bath on one side, and the game room in the middle of the second floor.

An additional bedroom, and a separate media room are at the far end of the catwalk... which again overlooks the family room below.  What a great area for entertaining.

This floor also makes a great teen-suite... if that suits your family makeup.

The kitchen is definitely for the gourmet.  Granite counter-tops, forty-two inch raised panel cabinets, high ceilings, a pass-thru bar to the family room, a huge walk-in pantry, and a family-sized work-island complete the gourmet feel.

Pricing... with all the above included features, and of course, including the building lot itself (unless you pick an oversized or premium lot)... the price is $228,990.

Directions:  From the intersection of I-360 and I-20 in the Arlington/Grand Prairie area, take 360 south to where it dead-ends into 287.  Turn left (east) on 287, continue to passing under the Rt 67 bridge.  Take the next exit, and at the stop sign, turn left.  Follow about one mile to the stop light just past the high school on your right.  Turn left, and proceed about one and one-half miles to the open house on your left.  Please ask for your host, Jason Dickens.  Mention me... Karen Anne Stone... and get extra freebies with your purchase !

If you are ready to go from "Just Looking" to "Let's Get Serious," this home is now ready for occupancy.  For your own personal tour, call the NewHome Hotline at (817) 929-3400.  You may also visit Karen Anne Stone's website at www.NewHomeHuntersDFW.com .

Liz:  I really like to write up an open house ad and post like this rather than do some sort of short form.  I think the more ways I can excite a buyer's interest and get them to come out and visit me, the better off we both are.  Thanks so much for your kind comments... take care...

Lorinda:  Thanks so much for your kind words.  I have found that writing an ad/post like this has a much better chance of bringing out visitors.  Take care...

Rick:  In today's market, spending a Sunday in a beautiful home like this can be a great source of business.  Why not drive down and visit me ?  Have some tea and a crumpet or two... LOL.  Take care...

That's a whole lotta house, Karen Anne!  I'd get lost in there!  :)

Hope you get a cash buyer from the open and close on Thursday!  (I can dream, can't I?)

Okay, I followed the link to your website, clicked on featured homes, and didn't see this on the first page.  I really like your post here, but it inspired me to want more pictures and the price...  Can you send me a direct link to this listing?

Carol:  What a great idea.  I like the way you think !  Now if I can only find a buyer or two who thinks the same way.  Take care, Carol.  By the way, is your voice back yet ?

Margaret:  Ok... first she likes the house.  Then she actually wants me to do my job right, and make sure it's on my www.NewHomeHuntersDFW.com website.  Yikes... some of these buyers can be pretty demanding.  Ahhh... now she wants a price, too.  Well, looking at the time I posted this, it appears it was 2:06am.  Ahh... the price, I knew I forgot something.  OK... $228,990.  :)  Let me see what I can do about additional pictures... ASAP.

Charles:  Another picky person.  Price... it is $228,990.  Sorry, it was late, and I proofread it for spelling and grammatical errors, but did not notice the stuff I neglected to put in there... like the little item of what the price was.  Thanks for the heads-up... along with Margaret.
