As you know, I can't get over the prices in your part of the country - probably 1/3 to 1/2 of what a comparable home might be in the D.C. - Baltimore metropolitan area.  But I think of Texas as this big sprawling place, so it surprises me that there seem to be such small lots in the subdivisions.  The closeness of this home to the street seems to suggest that's the case here.  By the way, if you've listed this subdivision, that appears to be the case here. (Not a criticism, just an observation!)

Hi Margaret:  The typical setback of new homes in the Fort Worth area is twenty-five feet from the street.  Some "patio" homes have a twenty-foot setback.  Typical lot size for patio homes is 45 x 100 or 45 x 110.  Yes, this is small, but even 50 x 110, which is considered normal for a typical first time buyer here is what the builders usually build on.  Some homes that would be perhaps 170,000 and up might be on 60 x 120 homesites.  That is pretty much standard in Texas.
