Life is Never Easy When You Have Two Heads...

Life is Never Easy When You Have Two Heads...

Why I thought it would be... I'll never know.  Some things work better... other things... not so much.

But... keeping everything all bundled and bottled up inside just one head... ouch... it used to hurt.  So... I grew another head.

I know... it sounds funny.  And yeah... many of my everyday expenses have gone way up.  Just think... two trips to the dentist.  Twice as much to get my hair done.  And Yikes... just the cost of all that extra lipstick, eye-liner and mascara.

But... I did it.  I thought I had to.  I thought I had no choice.

Have YOU ever thought you needed two heads ?

Comments

Have I thought of getting two heads? Actually I haven't. But Karen you know what they say "Two heads is better than one". Have a great weekend.

Lanre... when you think about it... there's more than one way to get a head.  Or to get "another" head.  Whatever works for you.

And... if you managed to GET another head... what would you DO with it ?

Posted by Fort Worth Real Estate - - - Karen Anne Stone (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) 7 months ago

Karen, Two heads may be better than one, but I find that having one head is a million times better, than none.

As far as having two heads, it makes a big difference on where that 2nd head is located, and which direction it faces.  Although we would all appreciate having eyes in the back of our head,it might actually be nice to kiss our own ass every once in a while.

There is also the risk of being called Two Faced.  I'll give this some more thought, and return with a comment for your other head.  Best wishes always.

Posted by Richard Yates - Broker (Coldwell Banker Real Estate) 7 months ago

Richard:  Oh... you bring up many points that I had not even thought of.  Perhaps things are very different when viewed from your male perspective.

And... as far as that "kiss" you mentioned... isn't there something about that written in Scripture ?  Something about "turning the other cheek ?"  or was I misinformed ?

Posted by Fort Worth Real Estate - - - Karen Anne Stone (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) 7 months ago

Ms Karen- I haven't thought about having 2 heads but that does pose an interesting question because if I had 2 heads I'd like to be able to pick the second one and maybe have that one be a red head.. I've always wanted red hair.. and then I'd like my second on to have longer eyelashes and while we're at it... no sags, bags or wrinkles!!!

Posted by Kathy Streib-Home Stager-Palm Bch County South Florida - 561-914-6224 (Room Service Home Staging) 7 months ago

Kathy:  Wow... some really great ideas.  Yeah... pick the second one... and tailor it to your wants and needs.  BUT, my dear.  Didn't I just see an awesome NEW picture of you... something in a frame ?  Where did I see that ?  On your blog, perhaps ?

Also... you don't need to wait for another head... to be a redhead.  Find yourself a good salon... make sure you use an experienced "colorist..." and you can really be the redhead you want to be.  Go for it.

Now... as for this "sags and wrinkles" stuff... I don't know how you could be any cuter than you already are, Miss Kathy !

Karen, I don't know a lot of scriptures, but I do recall that Moses tied his ass to a tree, and walked for seven days.  Don't quote me about the 7 days, but I'm pretty sure about him tying his ass to a tree.  This proves that skin is very elastic.

Although an ass may seem off topic, it butts up very nicely with my previous comment.

BTW: Did you like the video that I made for you?  If not, I can easily change it.

Hi Karen.  If you have two heads and you do two jobs is it considered multi-tasking, or do you have a one-track mind?

I have momre than two heads, but it's a good thing my hair is naturally curly and I don't wear much makeup, so I don't have those added expenses!

Actually I want an entire clone or perhaps two.  Cleaning, cooking, walking the dogs... if only I had some help.

I like the two heads are better than one, but not two of my own heads, maybe me and YOU Karen Anne, then I will have it all figured out, I can weigh things, come up with the best decisions.

Posted by Gary Woltal - Assoc. Broker REALTOR® SFR Dallas Ft. Worth (Keller Williams Realty) 7 months ago

Richard... I am trying to keep this ok for a "family audience..." LOL.  Now... you seem to have this thing about that portion of the body.  As long as it makes you happy.

As far as the video is concerned... I saw it once... really liked it, and then have been looking for it for about two weeks... trying to search through all past posts I have read... but to no avail.  What post is it in ?  I liked it a lot... I just cannot FIND it.

Thanks a bunch.  Nobody has every made anything like that for me.

Posted by Fort Worth Real Estate - - - Karen Anne Stone (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) 7 months ago

Pam... perhaps each head could take notes on what the other one is doing ?  There simply must be a better way to keep track of things than the one I am using... LOL.

Posted by Fort Worth Real Estate - - - Karen Anne Stone (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) 7 months ago

Donna:  Wow... more than two heads ?  Yikes.  Your ONE head is great, just by itself.  So multiple heads... what more could this world hope for ?

Naturally curly ?  So... do you blowdry it it straight like it shows in the picture ?  And... you don't need makeup.  Me, I use spackling compound and put it on with a trowel.  Ahhh... the joys of growing old.

Sounds to me like you've got the who thing covered.

ps... along this same line... can you imagine having two of Alyssa ?  Identical twins ?  Pretty cool.

Posted by Fort Worth Real Estate - - - Karen Anne Stone (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) 7 months ago

Linda:  Two heads and two jobs... sure, that's multi-tasking.  But... I was hoping this whole idea would make things less complicated.  I wish I DID have a one-track mind, some days.  I don't know if you remember 8-Track tapes... but so often it feels like I have an 8-Track mind, and they are all going in different directions.  Oy !

Posted by Fort Worth Real Estate - - - Karen Anne Stone (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) 7 months ago

Tammy:  A clone of you would be great.  but TWO clones ?  If so, could you send me one ?

Cooking, cleaning, walking your puppies... lots of help.  What about your hubby-person ?

I have always said that every working woman... especially one with kids... needs a wife.  I'm thinking if we cloned you... adding one, perhaps two more... you could be your OWN wife.  What a concept.

Posted by Fort Worth Real Estate - - - Karen Anne Stone (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) 7 months ago

Gary:  If YOU had two heads... that should work out well.  One for Gary Keller, and one for Joe Williams.  (it was Joe, wasn't it ?)

And oh, if there were two of you... the guys in Flower Mound would surely have to hide their women.  I can just hear Karen Borta on Channel 11 talking about it all on the news.

You want ME to help you with decisions ?  Wow.  Careful, there big fella.  (dorky grin)

Karen, I always, mostly occasionally keep my posts "Family Friendly", let's put those previous comments behind us, and move forward to Your Video.  I can really pump it up with little effort, if you send me some additional photos, and tell me what else you would like the TEXT Frames to say.  My Gift to a you.

Hi Karen Anne - I think that this is a great idea - particularly since I often feel I'm about to lose the only one I have.

Posted by Ruthmarie Hicks (Keller Williams Realty - White Plains NY) 7 months ago

If I had two heads I could do twice as much thinking... and that would cause delay even further on my to do list. I'd probably get even less done. :( Not sure I'd ever want to heads... though I have wondered about a clone now and again.

Karen Anne

With two head you could talk to yourself and have a conversation.

Good luck and success.

Ms Karen- had to come back and thank you for your kind words.  I showed my husband this and he discouraged the 2 heads idea.... he said with both of my heads talking at the same time... he wouldn't be able to take it.

Hi Karen Anne, You crack me up! Sometimes I can't even get my ONE head to think straight...let alone two. Then again..maybe the other could step in when the other is having a "foggy" moment. Hmm..it just might work this two headed thing..and I'll even share my lipstick with my other head..I'm generous that way :) Thanks for the smile.

So...if you turned the other cheek, where would that leave you?  Would the two heads crash into each other?  How about if you were head over heels over something...would you be head head over heels heels?  Guess it would be easier to make headway with two heads.  Earrings might be a significant issue.  Rubber necking would be a lot of work too. Guess if you have a bad hair day it would be twice as bad.  Can't even imagine the expense of glasses or contacts.  Would you end up with two head colds?

I'm headed to bed!

Dear Karen Anne - I cried so much from laughing...I am sure now I don't have any more tears today.  Thank you & You do SO much with one!!  Of course that would mean more love for us!!  HeartBig Hugs & let us know :)  By the way the red is 'perfect' so keep that!  I am with Kathy in that "Red" has always been dynamic & the law of attraction.  I will probably be dreaming of the rubber necking that Mona mentioned above though!  xo  Sweet Dreams

Karen Anne,  I've known quite a few people who were two-faced, but never one with two heads.  I could think for days about all the implications but I only have one head and it's already hurting.  Hmmm.

Karen, I only want to be able to take my head off occasionally so I can work on my hair, or put it somewhere safe and out of the way. I don't just need two heads, I need two bodies as well, there's just so many things to do!

Posted by Hannah Williams (Re/Max Eastern inc.) 7 months ago

I am OK with just one head, actually I can only have one head because I am Irish and we have huge heads, sometimes banned from theaters.  I could actually use a second brain and due to the size of my head I think I could fit it in.  The one brain I have is loaded with useless crap and I have very little space left so I'm up for another brain.

I like the idea of two heads... one to work and one to play. Or, I could get both to work for me and more done. hmmm good question.

Actually, I think from time to time that I need a clone.....But two heads is a much better idea and less expensive than a clone. The world couldn't stand two of me....and come to think of it, I would get tired of it in a hurry, too!

Karen ~ LOL! Two heads... I can't imagine doing all that hair, especially on a rainy day! I would like to have two of me, one for real estate work and one for my "other job" - mom, wife, house keeper, etc., etc, you know what I mean.

Karen Anne - I sometimes think cloning myself would be helpful to getting things done, but maybe it would add to confusion.  I also think two heads are better than one when it allows different ideas.

Hi Karen Anne - I certainly can identify.  I've often wished I had not just two heads, but two whole me's (or more), cause I'll just never get it all done.  Ever!

Karen, I have often heard it said that two heads are better than one. But, I hadn't thought of the extra expenses of taking care of that extra head. It could get costly.  I have often wished for more hands, that would be nice.

Thanks for the chuckle this morning.

Hi Karen ~ I popped into AR to see what was being written about Occupy Wall Street and saw a couple of your comments on a post - and couldn't resist stopping by here.

Funny - several times I've felt I had two parallel brains.  In one brain I know that I have to do X on such and such day at such and such time.  In the other brain I am fully aware that I have to do Y at the very same day/time.  When the brains finally line up it is *very* disconcerting.

Karen Anne, I never considered having 2 heads- until now, but considering the additional expense...not to mention having to re-design my wardrobe for that added convenience!  I guess I'll stick to just one.  I would like an additional hard drive to download the information and free up more space inside my head, though.

Karen Ann - it is all true, and still, there is trouble with featuring. I can't believe that you do not noticeposts that are darn wrong for every agent in the trenches, and the only way they made it to featured was that whoever featured them has little idea of the trenches.
