Why Can't We All Just Get Along ? If These Two Can Do It, So Can You. Take a Look !

When we read the news these days... pretty-much no matter what we read... be it about Colonel Ghadafi and his mercenaries...and the "rebels..." killing each other, or President Obama and the Republicans going at each other's throats over budget cuts and social issues, or even the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics blasting each other "under the basket"... it's always conflict, conflict, conflict.

Why can't we all just get along ?

Well... sometimes you find two seemingly different creatures who normally do not have any sort of interaction whatsoever... who have broken the mold, and somehow... they have become friends.

What a world this would be if more of us COULD "get along."

I found this today... and cannot remember when I have enjoyed watching anything on YouTube this much.

Enjoy !

I saw this the other day and wonder if the cat thought they had scored one big fish dinner :-)

Well said Karen....too many people have dug in their heels.

Karen Anne ~ That was so much fun to watch ~ We should learn a thing or two from these two ~

Posted by Karen Baker, Professional Help with Rapid Responses... (Sunset Beach and Beyond Realty) about 9 years ago

This is much like my cat with the chickens. Here I thought Kitty Kat would attack the birds, but at most he plays with them. They seem to enjoy each other. Strange? Oh well. If only we could learn, right?

Posted by Lindsey Hasford, Bringing you home... (Edina Realty) about 9 years ago

Cindy, wow... that would be some fish dinner.  I don't think the dolphins would be very much in favor of it, though.  As I was watching it, I was hoping that one of the dolphins would invite the kitty to jump on its back, and take her for a ride.

Posted by Karen Anne Stone, Fort Worth Real Estate (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) about 9 years ago

Peter:  Well... maybe that's it.  I don't think dolphins HAVE heels.  I think you've found the answer.  Great job !  < smile >

Posted by Karen Anne Stone, Fort Worth Real Estate (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) about 9 years ago

Frank and Karen:  Boy, COULD we learn from these two.  Somehow, though, I think these two are a whole lot smarter than the rest of the human world.  I think that's obvious.

Posted by Karen Anne Stone, Fort Worth Real Estate (New Home Hunters of Fort Worth and Tarrant County) about 9 years ago

Lindsey:  I bet your two boys would really enjoy watching this.  Perhaps they should play this video on a giant screen each day at the opening sessions of both the House and the Senate.

Maybe you could use this video as inspiration, and take your own video of the chickens and your cat.  I know I'd love to see it, and so would others.

Hi Karen, that is so sweet it makes me want to cry. Animals do not know how to hold grudges. They only know unconditional love.

Posted by Jackie Connelly-Fornuff, "Moving at The Speed of YOU!" (Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Babylon NY) about 9 years ago

Jackie:  That is ok.  Crying is allowed !  Yes... very sweet.  The cat in the video looks exactly like my Ally cat that I had with me from 1988 to about 2001... so it is even more "sweet" to me.  Unconditional love is SO hard to find.

Oh how cool is this Karen.  Pefect way to end the day at the office.  How amazing is!  Thanks so much for made a big difference to me with having some long days lately.  I need to stop and play with dolphins more often!!

Too cute.  It does look like the cat just wants a nice head rub.  Funny how some people think humans are better than animals, when the animals often do a much better job than we "advanced" creatures.

OMG, that is so cool and so cute.  Yes, highly unlikely for those two to ever see each other let alone get along.  My cats seem to like the water too so I wonder how they would do.

Hi Karen Anne, When I saw this, is made me wonder if these two knew each other in different forms..I know an odd thought, but this was just so cool how the cat kept pulling the dolphin in for more kisses. Now, if everyone could get along like these two, it would be a really great thing.

Hi Karen Anne - That is just too cute.  The dolphin could have taken that cat out in shot- but it seemed genuinely curious - It wanted to be friends..

Karen Anne,

Should be a cool video, but I only could see 1/4 of it and then it "died" because of the conflict between the condo association and cable provider, and now the cable provider turned our broadband into narrowband

Mike, I will go look up the other version of this and try and substitute it into my post.

Liz and Mike:  When I originally submitted the post, I actually downloaded the video onto my computer... rather than just "saved the link", or bookmarked it.  I will have to see if I can substitute that one... for this one that has gone private, or at least insert a link.  Let me see what I can do.

Karen - this is one of the cutest videos I've ever seen. It's a fact that sometimes one species bond with another and I saw a video of a dog who abandoned her pups and a cat took each one and put them in a sheltered space and nursed them - the cat became their new mom and she was so loving towards them!

Karen....I, too, had problems with the video but when reading that others did too--made me feel thhs it wasn't just ATT messing with my head.  Found it & saw it.  FUN
Now as to why we can't get along--maybe we all need to realize that we did, after all, come 'from out of the seas' LOL.   If you find those magic words or "fix" out there, be certain to take credit and enjoy your fame.
have a great Friday & weekend.  A beautiful Easter is also wished for you & your family.

Posted by Michelle Gibson, REALTOR (Hansen Real Estate Group Inc. ) about 9 years ago

Michelle and Sheila, Barb and Diane, Liz and Mike:  I have no idea why the video works some days, and other days it says it is a "private video."  Here is a LINK to what I think is the same video on YouTube... but under a slightly different title.  YouTube - A cat has fun with a dolphin !

Hopefully it will work for you.  I will submit this comment, here, and then try the link myself, and then add to this comment.

UPDATE:  I tried the link... and at least for right now... it DOES work.  Enjoy !

Ken:  Not sure what you're talking about a sports team has to do with this cat and the dolphins... unless somehow you have an interest in the Hamilton Tiger Cats (I believe that's their name), and the Miami Dolphins.  I don't think that a playoff between the Canadian Football League, and the NFL has been arranged yet.  But, don't give up hope... anything's possible.
