Downsizing in Fort Worth ? Gourmet Kitchen, Bells & Whistles... under $150,000.

If You Are Thinking of Down-Sizing... This just might be the home for you.  Although this charming home is just slightly over 1600 sq ft, if you were entertaining in the Gathering Room... the combination kitchen, family room and breakfast nook... you would probably think the total square footage was much larger than that.  At $142,990... it is "priced right."

One of the problems often encountered when moving from a larger home with many amenities to a smaller one that's easier to take care of... is that yes, the home is smaller than what you're moving out of... but you still want all the rooms to be as large as the home you left.  Hmmm... just how do you do that ?

The spacious Master Suite is split from the two secondary bedrooms for extra privacy.  The Master is at the back of the home... which gives easy access if you ever wanted to put a covered spa in your back yard.  The Morning Room/Breakfast Nook is great for relaxing mornings.  Think about it... Starbucks and Muffins, Hot tea and a Three-Cheese Omelet.  And a roaring fireplace this winter !  How great is that ?

The front bedroom triple-bay-window is pictured below.  Because of this awesome window, the third bedroom would be absolutely great for a home office, a computer room, or a library if you enjoy reading.  One of my buyers who is an artist has set this room up as her "artist's den."  It turned out fabulous.  It has really stimulated her creative artistry.

The Gourmet Kitchen has hand-stained cabinets, and so much counter-top space it never seems to end.  The pantry is a walk-in, and the nearby utility room makes doing laundry pretty easy because it is both "hidden away" yet right off the kitchen/pantry area.

If you are ready to go from "Just Looking" to "Let's Get Serious"... call Karen Anne Stone of New Home Hunters DFW to see this pretty and surprisingly spacious.  Call Karen at (817) 929-3400
